JUNIOR/HANNAH BANANA

Having been blessed to be a part of two missions trips with Rooted, Hannah has since fallen in love with missions and serving God. She began serving and sharing the Gospel at a young age, and has been led by God to amazing opportunities to share His Word with others. Looking forward to this trip, Hannah hopes to continue sharing the Gospel with others and working according to God's plan!

Hannah's prayer requests are to remain a God-centered team, leading with faith and love towards others and all the people we may encounter in Mexico, as well as, each other.

SOPHOMORE/D1 SPIDER-MAN FAN

Samantha loves being in the outdoors and spending quality time with her friends and family (including her dogs Chance and Koda). She especially enjoys being a part of the wonderful Rooted community and serving in any way she can. After going on her first ever mission trip to Mexico last year, she felt God calling her to go again this year. She is so excited to see what God has in store for her and she cant wait to work with this year’s amazing team.

Her prayer request is that she would continue to grow in her relationship with God and to fully trust His plan. She also prays for unity within the team—that they would support and encourage one another while showing grace and patience in every situation.

FRESHMEN/LVL 1 CROOK

Thatcher is many things: a sister, daughter, friend and artist. But she is also a child of God. The love of God that resides in the Pathway Youth ministry has only infected her during her time there, and she hopes to spread it onwards to the children and people of Mexicali. Some fun facts include: she’s almost up to date with One Piece, has an older brother, watched The Prince of Egypt 5(?) times, and enjoys not touching grass.

Her prayer request is that the team would be able to spread the love of God and remind people of his faithfulness, as well as learning more about Him, the missionary, and her teammates.

SENIOR/SAC SAC ENTHUSIAST

Isaac has been on service trips to Taiwan and Tecate, Mexico. He loves to hangout with his friends and he also loves Praise & Worship. Fun facts about Isaac are that his Mom dropped him as a baby, and that he REALLY loves Lightning McQueen (the two facts may or may not be correlated).

His prayer request is that he’d be able to enjoy and make the most out of this trip. That he will encounter God through the preparation, through the worship, and through all the service we will be doing.

SENIOR/BIMMER BOY

From joining Pathway back in 2024 to now going through his last year with Rooted, Kayden has experienced several short term missions both with & without Pathway - his most recent one being Fukuoka, Japan. He also likes to play video games, hang out with friends, cars, and travel to new places. A fun fact about Kayden is that he's been snowboarding for almost 9 years.

His prayer request is that he can truly humble himself during this trip, and take time to learn more about God and his fellow teammates, while also staying focused on the purpose of missions.

SOPHOMORE/M&M MOCHA THE PANDA

This half white korean and black Filipino looking boy is a weak and fragile soul, who found his healing through church. The family that once rose him up from the trenches of the jungle is now setting off into the wild again in search of doing the same for others. The only care he knows is by God. He plans to show that love that has been bestowed upon him to other weak and fragile souls, in hopes of being a part of the work that will mend those wounds.

He asks for humility - the fellow children who are desperate for God are not below this man, but lay as equals at God’s feet. Prayers to have him remember where he came from, and how far he’s gone along this journey!

SOPHOMORE/RYAN.AI

Ryan enjoys building things, serving at church, and spending time with friends and family. He understands that staying faithful to God oftentimes warrents going beyond what he's good at or comfortable doing - it means to execute God's calling even through hardships or difficulties. Ryan believes that going on 2026 Mexico Missions as his first mission trip is the next step in his Christian walk that God is calling him to take.

His prayer request is that although he knows God's plan is perfect, that he’d not only stay faithful but also that he'd trust God no matter what happens.

PASTOR/MAC & CHEESE CONNOISSEUR

After being a part of his very first short-term trip in HS, he fell in love with the wider Kingdom work being done in the world. And after almost 14 years, 19 trips to 8 different countries; God has only increased that love for missions more and more. Can’t believe this is his 20th trip, but surely the God who was with P.Bill the past 19 will be with him during the big 2-0!

His prayer request is for wisdom as he leads the team, safety for the team, and for the students to encounter God in a deep, personal way as they follow God’s invitation to the Kingdom work in Mexico.
